ok, this happend yesterday, i would of put this question here, but the computers where all messed up and not working in 6 states including the state im in. ok
yesterday, me and my grandmother where outside, she was watering the flowers, and we heard a crow, cawing in one of our nearby trees. its caw grew louder, and louder each time, and it was a frightend call, then at the last caw, it was cut off with a strangle, as if something grasped its throat. the other crows flew to a differ tree. there was just pure silence. not even the birds deep in the woods chirped. it was silent for a while, then the other crows flew back into the tree, calling 4 the other crow. then i tied looking in the tree, but they where on the other side, but the sun shined perfectly to wher i could see a crows shadow, moving up and down from cawing. then that crow, that was cawing, suddenly in the shadow, its feathers ruffled up and it made a strangling sound like the other one….
the shadow looked as if something attacked it, as its feathers ruffled up and u know what i mean.
but wtf attacked these 2 crows??? i looked in the trees, but the crows that strangeld where gone, and there was nothing in the tree. nothing dead on the ground, or blood. what attacked these crows so quickly? the crows cawing with fear didnt fly away, they knew that there was danger though…
was it a tree marten?? we have lots of pine,fir,red wood, and cedar trees here.
theres only 2 crows left now.
but what attacked? (its in OREGON)
i know it wasnt a coon or cat……….
whatever attacked the crows was very quiet, no growling, hissing, or anything! not even the sound of the tree branches or anything moving…just the crows
there WAS 4 crows
was there TWO attackers do u think? but it was all in the same tree….the second crow got attacked a few minutes after the first.
sooo…. WTF ATTACKED THESE CROWS???
we seen no birds of prey fly in or out
the crows, well there was four, now theres only two left.
