The original Jack Rose’s Bastard was a successful midge pattern designed by and stocked by Parks’ Fly Shop from around 1960 until 1980, and was featured in the book [i]Tying and Fishing the West’s Best Dry Flies[/i]. This new version is simpler to tie and just as effective.
