What are our rights as a homeowners?

I am a legit homeowner. A year ago a family moved in to our subdivision as a lessee. The family is in a street food business, they make preparations outside their premises, causing flies and rotten smells. Their dogs are on loose and 2 incidents of dog bites have already happened. The food carts are blocking the way that people need to walk from the end of the block since they are second house on the block. The homeowners have petitioned and call for the homeowners association president. But since the president is a close freind of the family, nothing happened to the pettion. The dilemma is happening again. The dogs and ducks are out, carts blocking the way, the water they used to wash the big dishes flows on the street..and now they have added a monkey tied on a public tree. Since we have made a first move, we are requesting for a new meeting with the president. We will ask for a written agreement that the family will sign, if this will no push tru, what else can we do?

What recommendations do you have for high end, executive trip?

I am planning a luxury retreat for 10 key customers to an undetermined location and thought I would see what ideas people out here have. These people we are taking have the money to do whatever they want so we need to impress. Last year we took them to the Masters and it was a big hit! Recommendations on the most high end, luxury accommodations as well as high end activities, etc. are appreciated. There will be male and female attendees, all 40s-50s. Trip to take place DURING the week and two nights, one full day. Timing = May or June this year.

Ideas already on the list include:
Fly fishing/spa
Napa Valley
Hot ticket concert at great venue
Kentucky Derby

Thanks for your input.

High school Graduation Speech i need imput please?

Alright so my school does this thing were you right the speech at the beginning of the year then if you are chosen you read it at grad so they chose me as one of the kids to write something how does this sound

Congrats class of 2008!! Look around you, it’s graduation day! The day we have been looking forward to for so long! Now comes the point where we start a new chapter of our lives…Adulthood. Some of us will be heading off to college in a few months, others will join right in with the work force and for a few of us we will serve our nation. But with all this is coming more responsibility and decisions to make. Do not think that you can fly high enough to escape your responsibilities. When you decide to accept something as your own whether it be a thought, or a person, or an object you accept the responsibility of that something. You will always be tied down to the decisions you have made; there is no glory without consequence.

more on the response thing sorry ran out of room
However, know that those responsibilities are tied only to you and not the ground. Don’t let things in your life stop you from pursuing your dreams. You were given dreams for a reason. Life is also made up of a lot of decisions, each one larger and more important that the one before. There are two paths to take in life; someone else’s or your own. In the end they may end up in the same place , but to discover that end from your own experience is worth more than anything anyone else can give you. Most people refuse to see this option in their walk of life, and just follow the crowd. You don’t have to follow the crowd though you are your own person and although it can sometimes be hard to see you will never know that you have the ability to fly unless you let yourself fall. Every once in awhile life stings. Something you don’t want to happen will happen to you. you stick your finger in a hole in the dam and you turn around to see another leak has sprung open.

more coming
what you do to the sting most affects your life. will you sit around and complain about the sting or will you go find a friend to help? No man is an island, so don’t live like one. We have made it to this day together so always remember that your not alone! As James Dean once said ” Dream as if you will live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” Never settle for anything when you know you can have better. With all that said congrats class of 2010!!

so i know i have a few years but you change them every year that is just my starting one any ideas or anything i should take out?

My ex husband’s house is disgustingly filthy… How can I protect my children when they are with him?

I mean, he has fruit flies and roaches in the bathroom, food in his fridge from before I divorced him in March, there is a bra on my 8 year old floor and no females live there, my 8 year old has a broken window, no sheets on his bed, his mattress is askew, and there is a hole in his ceiling. My 11 year old has cat litter all over his floor. (they dont own a cat.) there is rotton food under their computer desk where their pomeranian lives on a rope tied to the desk. There is mold growing in their food cabinet. I called CPS once, and they had their church come in and clean their house spotless. They let it get messy again. When I called CPS again they thought I was just a bitter ex wife. Any ideas??

New walking problem?

On our Sunday evening walk, a dog flew out of his yard, barking and growling with his hackles raised after our dogs. It wasn’t a new route, just a new neighborhood dog. Our 3 year old male flipped out, literally.
He looked like a fish out of water he was flopping around so much trying to get at this dog.
Up until this point, he has never had a problem with another dog, now, he gets on the defensive and starts flopping around even if he so much as hears another dog barking.
We have tried everything we can think of, tried to “re” train him to walk on a leash, reward him when he behaves, and we have started using the “gentle leader” on him again, but nothing has worked so far. (We have done this on walks by himself.) The minute he so much as hears another dog bark, he flips out.
My hubby said he isn’t going to be getting any more walks if we can’t get him to stop doing the landed fish flop. (Out of the question.)
I have run out of ideas.
Any suggestions.
