anyone know the title of this movie?

a couple of hijackers jack a plane with children in it but one the children knows how to fly a plane and takes over piloting when the pilot is shot (i’m not too sure about the pilot being shot).
the children end up tying the hijacker and make an emergency landing in the end.

also, which movie did a group of people train dogs to rob a bank but the dogs became uncontrollable and run off with the stolen money? the dogs had mafia boss’ names (i remember Baby face Nelson and Dilinger)

I saw these movies when i was a kid so i don’t remember much of the plot or the titles.

Mach 2.3…..?

A plane is flying at Mach 2.3 near sea level where the temperature is 24 degrees celcius. what is the speed in m/s.

my question is what do the Machs mean and how do they tie into the problem???
p.s.: what are the units for the final answer….

and i must thank you all for the great input!
nevermind about the units thing… it was a stupid question.

How much does it cost to land a plane at a small airport? Pay for tie down? Pay for time parked there? Etc.

I hope to be a licensed pilot in the next 6 to 8 months and when I get my license I plan to buy a small plane. I am curious as to what it costs when you fly from airport to airport–other than fuel of course? I’m sure there is some kind of fee for landing at someone’s airport.

Why do schools teach our kids things that are not true?

Take airplane wings. They teach our kids that the plane flies because of lift due to the shape of the wing. (Bernoulli principle.) That is not true. If that were true, then a plane would be unable to fly upside down. If that were true then aerobatic planes would not have wings the same shape top and bottom.

Take simple machines. They teach that there are SIX…when in fact there are seven. Examine a bow string. Do some measurements using A^2 + B^2 = C^2. You can use the same method to pull a car out of a ditch, by pulling sideways on a rope tied to the car and a tree. You have a mechanical advantage until the rope hits a 90 degree angle where you are pulling. That meets the definition of a simple tool yet it is never listed.

How come the teachers never QUESTION what they teach?
No wonder American students are doing so poorly in the sciences compared to other nations.
Top schools in the USA….. But check out the percentage of foreign students taking the courses.

I did not knock our colleges. I complained about the quality of our teachers and what they are teaching. The two examples are things kids are being taught in grade school. If you get them off onthe wrong track early, they stay there.
