Anyone know about fishing in Grand Teton National park – esp. the high lakes? Fly, spinner, ect?

I’m thinking about packing a fly or spinning rod. Just wondering if it’s worth it or if anyone has tips. Will be mid-summer and high country lakes (phelps, surprise, taggart, etc).

Poem COLORFUL KITE?

In a lonely park I sit upon a bench waiting for your meeting to end. For duty to once again be satisfied.

While there I happen to notice a beautiful kite flying upon the wind. Within its brightly colored patterns I see myself… bobbing and weaving… caught up in a comforting embrace it danced in a joyous freedom.

Entranced I watched… soon I became aware of a small figure in control of the kite. His blue eyes lit up in the joy he felt… his small fists clutched tightly upon his beautiful treasure.

Suddenly out of nowhere a burst of wind came and the kite found his freedom dancing away seeminly unaware of the pain its sudden departure would cause…

Startled I felt your warm hand upon my arm. My lifeline… so solid and true. Tying me firmly with love.

My 3 year old is irrationally petrified of bugs! What can I do?

It all started when she saw her aunt ALMOST get stung by a bee. Now she is scared of all bugs, even ants and flies to the point that just going to sit outside for a while is a major headache. She freaks out at every bug she sees! She doesn’t like going to the park anymore or anything. I might get her there for a little bit, but as soon as a bug flies by, it’s instant drama. We would like to go camping and fishing this summer. We certainly don’t plan on spending the entire summer indoors! How can I alleviate this unrealistic fear of hers? (ok, unrealistic for me, not for her!) She has never been like this before. Sure she’s gone through phases and what not, but she always gets over them. That’s what kids do. But this has just gone on too long now! Has anyone ever had any expereince with this or have any advice to offer? I could really use it!

Fly fishinhg.?

I will be nymphing at roaring river state park Missouri. It’s kinda a small stream and I was wonder in if I needed a strike indicator on my line? If I do need one, how do I know where to place it on my leader if the river is multi-depth?

Here are some pictures of the river, not the exact place I will be fishing but is almost the same with less trees and there is no wading.(These links might not work)
