What would you do if you were in my position?

Heres the thing, my mum and dad split up, my mum kicked my dad out as she suspected him of wanting a relationship with the nextdoor neighbour…he swore nothing was going on, but 2days after she kicked him out, he has moved in with her and is now living next door to my mum.
I (fortunately) have already flown the nest, and dont have to live next to him, but, he is my father…and he is also a grandfather to my son, but he shows no care for him, or me, he “forgot” my birthday, my brother reminded him the day before, but no, not even a text came from my father.
His new woman and her children keep giving us all dirty looks when they see us…and my dad is just acting like I dont exist, until his new woman is bored of him…and then, well its me he comes calling for…
what would you do in my situation? would you cut off all ties with the low life…or be there for him when his tart doesnt want him anymore?

Fly Fishing Questions?

I just bought My first fly rod (single action, nothing fancy) and, had a few questions for the fishermen who may have been doing it for awhile. how much goes on the reel? backing fly line and, leader. what is the loop at, the end of the leader for? and, what is tippet? I will be mostly concetrating on a couple of reservoirs in central TEXAS. Bass Hybrid Striper and, Crappie. any help is appreciated.

Why do people think we are superior to animals?

We’re not, fullstop. Yes, we have differences, we can speak, that means nothing, a fish can survive underwater for long periods, birds can fly. Just because we think we are more aware, that means nothing, go into a jungle and we’ll see how superior you are. Many animals have better features, fish – living in water, birds flying. Theres no excuse, we are animals, intelligent animals, and dominant, but lots of animals are domiant in their own ways. Theres no excuse. And please don’t quote the bible as if it is some factbook, i don’t believe and therefore any bible answers will mean nothing to me. We may be dominant at modern world and technology (not nature), but that does NOT mean we are better or superior.
“Renee”, Does that make us superior? Better? How about this, i dont see humans flying, birds can , not humans. Do you have anything else to say?

what / who is it and why me?

i first saw it one night when i was 3 or 4 in a VERY real dream. A very nice black man came and took me out of my room and we flew hand in hand across the city. The colors i saw were like nothing i have ever seen before. I can remember this very viviidly.
My mother has told me that when i first learned to talk i would always call black men daddy. It didn’t matter where or what we were doing, all black men were my daddys.
I loved to dance when i was little, I made my aunt dance all the time, i’d turn the radio on and make her dance, but it would have to be Marvin Gay or some old school motown, nothing else.
Ok here is where it all ties together. Every house we ever lived in my family agrees that there is “something” with us, and we have moved 9 times, different states even. So this “something” is sometimes interactive and sometimes you can just see it darting around the house.
One day i took a pic of myself to send to my friends, and it was in the pic with me. Plain as day.
i showed my family the pic and they were freaked out too, only for the fact that it made some kind of weird sense. Ever since that day i saw it in the pic i can’t quit thinking about it. Who is it? an angel? a spirit guide? a lost soul? What or who ever it is i feel very connected with it. Even before i ever saw it , i knew it was there, i can feel it. Please dont say i am crazy. but for an average “white” girl to feel so connected with black people and feel the music and culture on a level that is very odd to most makes me wonder if this thing helped sculpt me as a person. I guess i have too many questions, but i would like some SERIOUS feedback. Please dont be mean. this is serious to me.

Why did Bush do NOTHING to help the people of New Orleans?

Bush could have saved thousands by stopping his vacation, and by sending troops into New Orleans. Instead, Bush did nothing, and relaxed in San Diego. Dick Cheney was fly fishing, and condoleeza, sho shopping.

How’s that for morals?? Enjoy your vacation, but kill thousands.
