New to poetry- tell me what you think?
I started writing poetry this month. Feedback? (I’m 16)
“Vampire”
Lurking in the shadows
I prey on mankind
An unquenchable thirst
consuming my mind
I am losing my soul
with every sip that I take
Each drop of blood
marks another mistake
I’ve transcended death
Was it worth the cost?
I can never regain
the life I have lost
“Butterfly”
My attempts, failed
Is this my punishment?
Never to fly again
Pinned to the wall
You watch me flutter
As I tear myself apart
Losing this battle
I long for release
I’d tell you the truth
I’d tell you anything
If you would believe me
Despite these black wings
“Witch Hunt”
Find the lady
Dressed in black
Tie her to the stake
And never look back
As the flames consume
Her body and soul
If you need a martyr
She’ll play the role
The crowd’s piercing scream
“Burn witch, burn!
From ashes you were born
Unto ashes you return!”
She closes her eyes
And takes a deep breath
The calm of an innocent
Awaiting her death
Do you think Jesus shared……?
with his disciples all of his supernatural abilities? It is recorded that he walked on water, did magic things with fish and blind men, appeared out of thin air and ascended into heaven. Did the disciples know he could fly? Did he tell anyone of the fact that the world is round (yes, it is) and that there was a ‘New World’?

I would just like to say Happy New Years to everyone in the Fishing area, and everyone else in YA!!! What is your New Year’s resolution.
Mine is to get better at fly fishing, and fly tying!

New Santa Claus Guidlines?
I mean wtf? I just heard of how they’re changing Santa Claus, supposebly in Australia but I may be wrong. This is what I heard:
- He Can’t say ho ho ho cuz its offensive to women so he has to say he he he
- He is skinny so he doesn’t influence children to be obese
- He doesn’t drive a sleigh with reindeer that fly because they don’t want children to think that they can fly. So, instead, he drives a normal pickup truck powered by an engine (i mean, if they go to this extent anyway, why not make it an environmentally friendly vehicle atleast? lol)
- He doesn’t wear a santa suit because in the country that has these guildlines (still not sure which) it’s summer in winter and store santas will sweat too much and so he wears a tie die shirt and beach shorts.
This might not be news to you, or it might be totally untrue but can you tell me, if you know? And tell me what you think of it?
