How Fast would a fly have to fly to stay aboard a boat?

Hey people.

Here’s somthing that ive always wondered lol.

Now you have a boat with an open cabin space…Eg a small fishing boat.

Pretend you were travelling along a river at 5 knots and a fly was in the boat…if it wanted to fly to the front of the boat would it have to fly at 6 knot’s to make it to the front of the boat.

In a closed cabin id imagine it wouldent have to work so hard. Unless it was to loose momentum.

Dumb question in know But I was out wakeboarding the other day and it crossed my mind haha

Looking for a 20 gauge shotgun…help please?

Hey! I am looking for a 20ga. shotgun for deer hunting this fall. The thing is, is most stores around here mostly have 12ga. shotguns, 3-30 or 30-06. Most or all of the employees keep trying to get me into a 12ga. when I clearly say, no 12ga. what so ever and that I want a 20 ga. Could this be because I’m female and they think I can’t handle a 20ga? I’ve shot them numerous times before when I’ve gone hunting (they’ve been borrowed) and have had no problems.

Here’s the thing though, most 20ga. are too heavy for me and some youth or womans models either have too short of a barrel or are pretty light duty and would not shoot the distance that I would prefer. What would be some good models to check out? The so called “kick back” I’m not worried about, no I don’t want to have to be tied to a tree so I don’t go flying the other way it kicks back so bad but I’m not worried about the gun having kick back. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have found one gun but the store no longer carries that specific gun or anything close to it so now I am stuck having to start all over again from the begining.

What’s the best way to tie down my 9 foot surfboard to my car? Please help!! :(?

Hey guys! I need some help! I have a 9 foot epoxy board and I’ve had it for years. I bought a softrack for it and usually use that when I surf. However, it completely freaks me out because I can see the surfboard going up and down as I drive on the freeway…looking like its going to fly off. I always tie it down as tight as possible with the softrack straps but the board still goes crazy up there and i get super nervous. I’m only ten minutes from the beach so I’m not going very far…but what can I do to make the board stay on better? I don’t have a hard rack on my car because I’m getting a new car in the next couple years. I have a 4 door car. Should I use towels? Should I get surf straps? I need help!! :( :( Also…I always put the fin in the front of my car… please let me know! Thank you soo soo much!!! :) :)
Oh also…whats a red tag? someone mentioned that cops check for that but i have no clue what that is haha :)

Benefits of working for the airlines?

Hey everyone
Well i’ve been doing some research about the benefits of working with the airlines and i was wanting to get some real time feedback from you guys..

Im 17, a senior in high school, im going to graduate in the spring, and more than anything i want to travel after i graduate…this is my main goal! to see as much of the world as i can while im young and can fly anywhere without being tied down with a family and kids…

So if anyone has had any experience working in the airlines, can you tell me what the benefits are, especially concerning travel benefits…also what are the downfalls? and what entry-level jobs are the best? is it hard to get a job with the airlines? any and all information will be helpful…

Hey everyone.. can you believe this…?!!!!?

Ok… so I’m 16 and I was driving to the mall… I live in central Texas and we have been getting alot of rain. I don’t like to drive in the rain, but when I left my house… all was calm and well. Then about half way to the mall it was pouring!!!!!!!!! I coould hardly see, I had my windshield wipers on full blast and then all of the sudden, they tied up in a knot!!!!!!!!!!! I could not see anything! AHHHHHHHH! SO I swerved over to the side of the rode and flew throught the ditch, blowed a mile marker down and not a scratch on the car! Needless to say… I;m gonna try my best to stay iin when it’s wet! hahah. Thought I’d share!
