What’s the best way to tie down my 9 foot surfboard to my car? Please help!! :(?

Hey guys! I need some help! I have a 9 foot epoxy board and I’ve had it for years. I bought a softrack for it and usually use that when I surf. However, it completely freaks me out because I can see the surfboard going up and down as I drive on the freeway…looking like its going to fly off. I always tie it down as tight as possible with the softrack straps but the board still goes crazy up there and i get super nervous. I’m only ten minutes from the beach so I’m not going very far…but what can I do to make the board stay on better? I don’t have a hard rack on my car because I’m getting a new car in the next couple years. I have a 4 door car. Should I use towels? Should I get surf straps? I need help!! :( :( Also…I always put the fin in the front of my car… please let me know! Thank you soo soo much!!! :) :)
Oh also…whats a red tag? someone mentioned that cops check for that but i have no clue what that is haha :)

trout fisshing the nor. cal. sierra neveda’s?

Was wondering if anyone trout fishes up in the sierra neveda mountains, I’m totally addicted to it. I’m curious what rivers you like to fish. My favorites are the middle fork. stanislaus, east walker, little walker, east carson, clark fork, upper sac. Hey maybe we can go fishin sometime, fly or spinning gear.

Hey Brandon I know you were interested in the Maxima fly leaders, well I found some at the bass pro in Tulsa. I was getting some poppers because I was going fly fishing for bass all next week and saw some of the Maxima leaders you were talking about. I got a spool to use this upcoming week. It comes in 27yd spools. Its weird how it wasn’t on the bass pro website but it was in the stores. So next time you go look in the fly fishing section.

Benefits of working for the airlines?

Hey everyone
Well i’ve been doing some research about the benefits of working with the airlines and i was wanting to get some real time feedback from you guys..

Im 17, a senior in high school, im going to graduate in the spring, and more than anything i want to travel after i graduate…this is my main goal! to see as much of the world as i can while im young and can fly anywhere without being tied down with a family and kids…

So if anyone has had any experience working in the airlines, can you tell me what the benefits are, especially concerning travel benefits…also what are the downfalls? and what entry-level jobs are the best? is it hard to get a job with the airlines? any and all information will be helpful…

Why Shouldn’t plan my own funeral?

Hey all got a strange problem going on here. I recently found out I have terminal cancer. I thought it would be helpfull if I did my funeral arrangements now that way my family won’t have to do it later, I found a casket and tombstone I really like the design/color etc and got the spot in the cemetary next to my parents. Now the problem is my wife and my brothers all don;t like the casket I picked out it’s bronze colored with a fishing scene on the inside of the lid, showing a lone fisherman fly casting into a stream and under the picture is the verse from the bible that says “come with me and I shall make you fishers of men” and the stone I picked is black marble with the same thing on it along with my name and the dates. Everyone here knows I’m a lifelong fisherman. My wife and brothers say I should go with a plain coffin and stone since thats more traditional. Do you all see any problem with my choices for the coffin and stone?
