In church one sunday morning, my pastor stands beside me and is bending down to tie a shoe. I notice His fly open. I didn’t say anything but listened “or tried to the message. Would you have told him?
O’ my gosh !!
has it been ten years
seems like yesterday
buying booties at Sears
I watched you being born
you were quite the show
I could not believe
how fast you would grow
you had two small hands
and two tiny feet
they’re like your mom’s
mine’s as big as a street
you have brains and charm
infinite good looks
believe in yourself
you can write library books
you have the power
to do as you wish
fly high like an eagle
and swim like a fish
dream of your future
work hard everyday
when finished working
go outside and play
be anything you want
stand out in a crowd
be true to yourself
love God, make us proud
be kind to others
yourself be true
you can do anything
just trust in you
your mom and me
you have our love
love yourself
and God above
I pray for you
my daughter Janea
have fun at camp
and a happy birthday.
Love dad
Pursuing muskies with flies has become a lifestyle for us here in the northwoods, and weve developed a close-knit tribe of fishing brothers as a result. The Musky Chronicles is a very fitting testament to a season of putting it all together and bringing our game to another level, and not only did he make sure that he got it done, but our boy Lee Church did it with style and all while paying homage to the legendary anglers that blazed the trail.
