How is this poem? Is there anything I should change?

For 7th grade English class, we had to write a list poem about wishes. Well, I don’t have it in front of me, but this is something along the lines of the beginning and end:
If Wishes Would Only Come True
If wishes would only come true,
I would wish I could fly,
Then I could zoom off into the sky like Superman,
Free of all the troubles normally tying me to this beaten ground.
… Other verses like that one… (can’t remember them exactly)
I could wish for many things,
But wishes will never come true.
Oh, if wishes would only come true.

Comment freely and truthfully, please.
It looks like I repeated the same line twice at the beginning, but “If Wishes Would Only Come True” is the title.

Dragonball and Dragonball Z – when did Goku learn to fly?

I’m a bit confused cos at the end of Dragonball Goku still has to use the Flying Nimbus and can’t fly. At the beginning of Dragonball Z he doesn’t fly either – the first time he flies is when he comes out of Princess Snake’s mouth and ties her in a loop by flying around. But he can’t fly earlier when he falls into the Home For Infinite Losers cos he needs to jump and need one of the ogre guys to kinda catapult him!

so… when does Goku learn to fly? surely it can’t have been between the HFIL and Princess Snake episodes cos we don’t see anything! im confused…

High school Graduation Speech i need imput please?

Alright so my school does this thing were you right the speech at the beginning of the year then if you are chosen you read it at grad so they chose me as one of the kids to write something how does this sound

Congrats class of 2008!! Look around you, it’s graduation day! The day we have been looking forward to for so long! Now comes the point where we start a new chapter of our lives…Adulthood. Some of us will be heading off to college in a few months, others will join right in with the work force and for a few of us we will serve our nation. But with all this is coming more responsibility and decisions to make. Do not think that you can fly high enough to escape your responsibilities. When you decide to accept something as your own whether it be a thought, or a person, or an object you accept the responsibility of that something. You will always be tied down to the decisions you have made; there is no glory without consequence.

more on the response thing sorry ran out of room
However, know that those responsibilities are tied only to you and not the ground. Don’t let things in your life stop you from pursuing your dreams. You were given dreams for a reason. Life is also made up of a lot of decisions, each one larger and more important that the one before. There are two paths to take in life; someone else’s or your own. In the end they may end up in the same place , but to discover that end from your own experience is worth more than anything anyone else can give you. Most people refuse to see this option in their walk of life, and just follow the crowd. You don’t have to follow the crowd though you are your own person and although it can sometimes be hard to see you will never know that you have the ability to fly unless you let yourself fall. Every once in awhile life stings. Something you don’t want to happen will happen to you. you stick your finger in a hole in the dam and you turn around to see another leak has sprung open.

more coming
what you do to the sting most affects your life. will you sit around and complain about the sting or will you go find a friend to help? No man is an island, so don’t live like one. We have made it to this day together so always remember that your not alone! As James Dean once said ” Dream as if you will live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” Never settle for anything when you know you can have better. With all that said congrats class of 2010!!

so i know i have a few years but you change them every year that is just my starting one any ideas or anything i should take out?
