Boring
I’m bored by a horrible burden
This terrible boredom of mine
I sit here and wait ’til it’s over
But I get very bored every time
I try to ignore just how boring
The boring old boredom’s no ride
I pray it will all soon be over
’cause boredom is so hard to rhyme

Buck Up
The one in the mirror is me
Nobody else there on the glass, you see
I reach inside the reflection
To wipe away fear and dejection
If you’ll hold the glass up
I will not give up
I’ll fix my collar and tie
And we’ll go outside
In the sun you and I
And celebrate
We are alive!

Prey
The arrows fly by, missed,
Flesh kissed, grazed,
They persist, hunting me,
I hear grunting, they’re slow
I, unwanting to die, runaway!
Bee! How ya been? Me? I got suspended…

They all have unique possibilities! Here’s my suggestion, since no one can truly help you in this ordeal…only suggest…put these away for two weeks…when you read them again, you yourself is going to slap your own head and say,”Wow! I could have had a V-8 while revising these idiotic things”…by then perchance they may seem idiotic…mine always do!!!
