Hi…I’m not sure how close to KC you need to be, but I do know of trout fishing in NE corner of IA. NE Iowa would be approx. 6-7 hours away from KC. There are brown, brookies, and rainbow, all very catchable size in hundreds of trout streams. Check it out!
