Yeah, this is about the worst site for any sign of intelligence whatsoever. Hmmmm… As for the analysis of the Final Cut… I think that you have to listen to the entire album to really appreciate it. And you need a bit of background research. Originally, the song was meant to be placed in The Wall (hence the gunshot covering the lyrics “the wall” in the album). Because of this, most of it has to do with the story. In short, Pink is going through the final stages of his decadence. Feeling completely abandoned, isolated, and losing the last bits of reality, he’s attempting suicide (by cutting his wrists, the final cut), but is interrupted and unprepared. There’s an awful lot of Roger Waters coming through as well (the confusion and mourning his lost love). Ha!
